Is MBS Nextcloud as good and safe as Onedrive, Dropbox, etc?

YES and not only that, it has the huge advantage that Big Brother can not spy on any of your Data due to its military encryption it offers.

We also do not scan Nextcloud directories for ad relevant content which is with Nextcloud itself not possible, unlike with Services as Onedrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

In addition Nextcloud was from scratch developed and created with privacy and security in mind as top priority and therefore offers more control and security as any other cloud storage platform.
